All parents are encouraged to monitor their child online through the Canvas program. This is the online classroom all teachers use at NCM to post assignments, grades and messages for students. Information to login to Canvas is included in the link below called “Canvas Parent Handout”.

If you have any questions on how to use the Canvas application, please feel free to visit the Counseling Center (Room 107) or the Categorical Office (Room 1205).
We have received nominations for the following parent committees:
School Site Council (SSC): Parent committee overseeing programs at National City Middle and the site plan for student achievement.
SUHSD English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC): Parent committee at the district level overseeing English learner programs.
SUHSD Parent Advisory Committee (DPAC): Parent committee at the district level to oversee districtwide programs.

The last day to send in your nomination for a committee is Tuesday, August 13th at 12pm. Elections for all committees will be held at Curriculum Nights on August 14th and August 15th.

Rotate through various sessions to learn about your child’s curriculum, expected learner outcomes and how to monitor your child online. All parents who attend will receive a non-uniform bracelet for their child to use on Monday, August 19th.
Parents and Guardians,
Lunch application for the new school year must be submitted soon to ensure your child receives lunch at school. The last day to receive free lunch for all students is Friday, August 2nd. You can pick up an application in the main office or apply online by clicking on the lunch application link below.
