Parent Committee Elections at Curriculum Nights

Parents,

We have received nominations for the following parent committees:

School Site Council (SSC):  Parent committee overseeing programs at National City Middle and the site plan for student achievement.

SUHSD English Language Advisory Committee (DELAC):  Parent committee at the district level overseeing English learner programs.

SUHSD Parent Advisory Committee (DPAC):  Parent committee at the district level to oversee districtwide programs.

The last day to send in  your nomination for a committee is Tuesday, August 13th at 12pm.  Elections for all committees will be held at Curriculum Nights on August 14th and August 15th.

Curriculum Nights

Join us for Curriculum Nights!

7th Grade:  August 14, 2019

8th Grade:  August 15, 2019

Time:  5:00-7:30

 

Rotate through various sessions to learn about your child’s curriculum, expected learner outcomes and how to monitor your child online.  All parents who attend will receive a non-uniform bracelet for their child to use on Monday, August 19th.

2019-20 Lunch Applications

Parents and Guardians,

Lunch application for the new school year must be submitted soon to ensure your child receives lunch at school.  The last day to receive free lunch for all students is Friday, August 2nd.  You can pick up an application in the main office or apply online by clicking on the lunch application link below.

First day of school is Monday, July 22nd.

School hours on the first day are 7:40 until 2:40.

Incoming 7th Grade Students

Important Information

Parents of All Incoming 7th Grade & Transfer Students,

Students are required by law to to show immunization records.  Students must have all vaccines that meet the 2019 requirements in order to start school on July 22, 2019.

Starting July 1, 2019, all 7th and 8th grade students need the following immunizations:

  • DTaP- 5 Doses
  • Polio- 4 Doses
  • Hepatitis B- 3 Doses
  • MMR- 2 Doses
  • Varicella- 2 Doses
  • Tdap- 1 Dose
